DataX: A System for Data eXchange and Transformation of Streams

چکیده
The exponential growth in smart sensors and rapid progress 5G networks is creating a world awash with data streams. However, key barrier to building performant multi-sensor, distributed stream processing applications high programming complexity. We propose DataX, novel platform that improves programmer productivity by enabling easy exchange, transformations, fusion of DataX abstraction simplifies the application’s specification exposes parallelism dependencies among application functions (microservices). runtime automatically sets up appropriate communication mechanisms, enables effortless reuse microservices streams across applications, leverages serverless computing transform, fuse, auto-scale microservices. makes it write, deploy reliably operate at scale. Synthesizing these capabilities into single substantially more transformative than any available system.
